In November 2022 I had the opportunity to be part of a very challenging project such as the Design sprint together with one of the most promising startups in the real estate sector, Edify. One of its founders, Carlos Beneyto, exposes this problem to us: “Can we evolve our software to solve a problem for investors?”
Discover how to invest with us is the new simulator of what an investment with Edify would be like. The objective of the project was to design an example so that the potential investor can navigate through the different services offered by Edify, respecting and following the bases of the original website. During the Design sprint week and following Carlos Beneyto's advice, we decided to develop the information that appears on the screen when opening a property.
Create a product that unifies all the real estate experience for investors and get the answers to these questions:
What do investors need to make decisions to buy?
What real problem are we solving for investors?
Do investors need all stages?
How can we make this product more “viral” for investors?
User Research
Prototyping
User Testing

Through the technique of "How might we...?" We wrote all the possible challenges taking into account the aforementioned opportunity. We grouped these challenges by categories and voted for the bests considering the Design Sprint challenge and the design criteria.
We did a market research in search of references and inspiration. We shared them with the rest of the team members and through brainstorming we generated a series of ideas from which, when we voted, we obtained the one we prototyped. We began to delve into the idea by making a Crazy 8. We selected our best idea and created a sketch which we showed to Carlos Beneyto who gave us feedback to continue developing the project.
We obtained a solution sketch validated by the decision maker that allowed us to build the prototype to test with users.
We developed the prototype in Figma and got in touch with the users for whom we did the testing.
